The iPhoneCoach was created after its founder, Patrick Dockhorn, identified that there was very little out there in the way of quality training & education for organisations and individuals interested in getting started with or advancing their knowledge in iPhone and iPad app development.

At the iPhoneCoach we believe that aquiring new skills is essential in today's fast-paced society; our objective is not only to provide you with the tools, processes and knowledge required to successfully build your own apps - we want to make your learning an enjoyable experience - we all learn best if we have fun doing it !

Patrick Dockhorn

Patrick

Patrick is a veteran software engineer and Online Entrepreneur; before starting iPhoneCoach, Patrick had already founded jTribe, a boutique Melbourne-based agency focused on iPhone and Android app development, where he helped deliver a multitude of apps, many of which gained significant attention by being featured or even named App of the Week by Apple.

Patrick lives in Sydney with his wife Jennifer, his children Kay and JJ, and their two dogs, Chester & Lily. He rides his bicycle to work (and occasionally around Lake Taupo), plays soccer, and kindles a lot.

Jenny Climas-Dockhorn

Jenny

Jenny is looking after the day to day operations of the five business units within KJEW Investments; she is the main customer liaison and organises all training and conference events.

In her free time Jenny plays Tennis, rides the bicycle and does intermediate ski runs.

Sebastian Loew

Sebastian Lion

Sebastian is a versatile Software Engineer with a strong background in Ruby's Rails framework - he's recently found joy dabbling with node.js and happily feeds bits from either backend technology into iOS apps. When he's not writing code, Sebastian is everyone's favourite handyman.

Rebekka Angres

Rebekka

Rebekka is one of the main drivers behind our web based applications - her combined background in Design and Marketing sees her involved in all the visual aspects of our development work, she's also our key player when it comes to putting the word about our services.

Manuel Beuttler

Manuel

Manuel is our resident Android expert and involved whenever both the iOS and Android platforms play a role in a project. With a degree in Media Computer Science his broad skills are a very welcome addition to the iPhoneCoach team.

Sebastian Hagedorn

Sebastian

Sebastian is an experienced iOS developer that contributed to numerous apps such as the Australian Open iPad app, Cheese & Wine and Beerbuddy, before focusing on training delivery. Sebastian is heading up the European operations at iPhoneCoach. He usually lives in Dresden and, when he's not creating iPhone apps, is an avid reporter on the International HipHop scene.

Berit Lochner

Berit

Berit is our resident UX specialist and has ensured that our iPhone and iPad apps keep their focus sternly on the needs of the users of the app. In her free time Berit enjoys paddling around the various Sydney waterways and explores the region on foot, bike & by train, in search for highlights in art & nature.
